AzarMaya, which means "water fire" in some variations of Arabic, is a tribal fusion dance troupe based in southern Rhode Island. Currently we focus on ATS-style improv, with a bit of Bollywood and African Dance tossed into the big dance salad!

Welcome to our home on the web! We are excited at the ongoing blooming of tribal style dance in our region, and we're looking forward to meeting many of our tribal sisters around the north-east this year.

I have been really bad at updating the webpage! We are now a somewhat smaller troupe; as many of our members have headed off to other regions for happy things like grad school and marriage! They are doing well and we miss them! We continue as a small troupe, which seems to be making us busier!
